When Wes and Stephanie got married in Greenville, South Carolina, they had a beautiful outdoor wedding that definitely was traditional but also showed that they are trendsetters.
Of course, the wedding starts with the bridal party and the bride is the centerpiece. Stephanie looked amazing in her strapless gown. The details throughout the dress were incredible. The gown was beautiful and boasted a long train.Many modern brides opt for a shorter train or none at all. Stephanie's dress was a classic look with the veil to match.
The groom and groomsmen wore matching tuxedos. The brides maids wore long dresses that matched the men. Many brides today opt for short dresses for the ladies and sometimes a variety of colors for the men. It is a very traditional for everyone to be in uniform attire
It wasn't just their attire that was very classic. It was also their choice of venues. They exchanged their vows at the Kilgore-Lewis house that was originally constructed in 1838. While it has undergone renovation over the years, it sits on five acres and boasts beautiful gardens and an Arboretum. It provided a magical backdrop for this outdoor affair.
After they wedding, they had their reception at the Wyche-Pavillion at the Peace Center located along the Reedy River. It happens to be one of the oldest commercial structures in Greenville, South Carolina.
We have shown how Stephanie and Wes were traditional but now let's talk about how they were modern. First of all, they did not ride in a limo from the wedding venue to the reception. The entire bridal party was transported in a bus. This is definitely a unique detail that places them in the trendsetter category. As we have pointed out, Stephanie and Wes, were able to creatively have a very classic wedding but added elements to make it a modern affair. The end of their day definitely fit perfectly.
