Viva Color Wedding Inspiration
Viva Color Wedding Inspiration.
A team in Portland, Oregon, sought inspiration from the flourishing colors of springtime to create this vivid wedding shoot. Set at Studio 1904, once home to the Portland Woolen Mills, this space gives a team of designers creative license to embrace a spectrum of color through a variety of uses. This bridal shoot inspires any bride who loves color to gravitate towards her brighter, bolder visions.
The bride’s look is modern but sophisticated as she wears a white jumpsuit with a plunging neckline.
The team incorporates many natural elements throughout the shoot to soften the industrial feel and bride the outside in. They hang hand-painted wicker from the ceilings at a variety of heights to also add dimension.
The florist uses the planet Jupiter as their muse to create this vibrant carpet made entirely of petals.
Dyed fabric serves as a colorful backdrop and is paired with floral arrangements that stand tall from the floor.
The bride makes an outfit change into a lovely white sundress with cut outs. She pairs it with nude flats and wears her hair casually down by her shoulders.
Blooms in just about every shape, size and color come together in the bride’s bouquet – all tied with ribbons in a carousel of shades.
To spice up her own look, the bride dons a floral crown made from the same brightly colored flowers from her bouquet - an eccentric way to bring all the floral elements together.
She dons a third style – a pretty gown with thin straps, lace bodice and pleated skirt– that’s the most classic of the three. And her hair is tucked neatly in an updo for a polished finish.
This look balances out the avant-garde style of the flowers, which feature peach and pink blooms, and a pop of striking blue.
The scene is her playground, where she weaves in and out of the fabric panels and frolics in the carpet, throwing petals in the air like confetti and laughing as they touch her face.
There’s a reason this shoot is called “Viva Colour.” It abounds with lively hues that celebrate springtime in a most glorious way. And with three clever and beautiful bridal looks, any bride can find herself wrapped in the possibilities of color on her wedding day, no matter how subtle or spirited her style.
