Washington D.C Engagement
Washington D.C Engagement.
Hayley and Philip’s Washington, D.C., engagement session is as stylish and timeless as they come. This gorgeous couple first met on a blind date in D.C. over five years ago. With an instant connection, they talked for hours and pretty soon the Chicago born-and-raised Philip fell head over heels for the Southern belle from Louisiana.
Four years after their first date, Philip popped the question to Hayley on the rooftop of the Kennedy Center. Friends and family from Louisiana jumped out to surprise her and the couple celebrated at the sight of their first date – the Filomena Restaurant.
Their engagement session starts off at the beautiful Jefferson Memorial, where we first set our sights on Hayley. The bride-to-be stuns in a red gown and completes her look with red lips, a red manicure and statement earrings.
As he slicks his hair back, Philip looks like a modern gent in a crisp gray suit.
They ascend the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where their appearance beams against the marble.
Philip gives Hayley a twirl and kisses her cheek. His red and blue striped tie pairs perfectly with the confident color of her gown.
After capturing a fit of laughter, the two hop in a pristine 1964 cherry red Mustang and go for a spin.
Hayley and Philip put on a pair of cool shades as they ride with the top down along the D.C. streets. She looks fabulous in an all-black ensemble as Philip matches with his black tie.
They stroll about, admiring the colorful leaves and the glassy water. And the photographer captures a few sweet moments underneath the branches of a weeping willow.
They enjoy a small picnic complete with wine, bread, prosciutto and grapes and toast one another with the beautiful backdrop of D.C. behind them.

With much excitement to come, their stylish and personality-driven photos will be a way to remember such an important milestone in their life. And as they drive off into the next chapter, the sweet memories of this special day in D.C. are as enduring as the monuments themselves.
