Watson House NC Wedding Magazine Feature. Emerald Isle, North Carolina, got its name after a developer in the 1950s described it as a solid green gem in the middle of a sparkling sea. It's no wonder that this small town on the Crystal Coast has a storied history with Morgan and Scott.

The couple met as children when Morgan's family moved into Scott's neighborhood. They attended every school together and have been best friends ever since. Knowing that Morgan was always the one, Scott proposed in Emerald Isle. On a cold December morning, Scott got down on one knee at 7am just as the sun was rising.

Fast forward to more than a year and a half later, and Morgan and Scott found themselves back in Emerald Isle for the wedding day of their dreams. They chose the Watson House, a gorgeous estate teeming with European elegance and Southern charm that sits on the edge of the Bogue Sound.
