Whitestone Country Inn TN Wedding

Whitestone Country Inn Tennessee Wedding. Whitney and Josh’s Tennessee nuptials will leave you teary-eyed in more ways than one. Set at the Whitestone Country Inn along Watts Bar Lake in Kingston, this shoot had a dual-purpose, and is proof that the best thing a bride can do on her wedding day is…relax.

Whitney got ready in the bridal suite eating strawberries on the floor. She was as calm and low-key as they come. And it showed in not only her photos but also, in her bridal style.

She wore embellished white flats for her walk down the aisle. She accompanied them with a gorgeous flowing gown that featured a lace neckline and bodice, along with short sleeves. She wore a beaded headband and traditional veil.

Whitney and Josh made sure not to see each other before the ceremony but that didn’t stop them from sharing a truly special moment. Reaching around the chapel doors, Josh, dressed in a sharp navy blue suit with a striped bow tie, held his bride's hand and even placed one on his bride-to-be’s stomach so he could pray with her and their little one on the way.

After the precious moment, they parted ways and Whitney grabbed her pink and white bouquet full of assorted roses and hypericum berries. Their wedding day was not only a chance to photograph a special day in the couple's life, but the photographer also got some awe-inspiring maternity photos, too.

The bride made a grand entrance to the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage with her father by her side.

Standing out in the blissful sunlight next to a stark white gazebo, Josh greeted his bride at the altar. With the groom’s grandfather, a longtime minister, serving as the officiant, the couple made their promises before family and friends and sealed their vows with a kiss.

Afterwards, Whitney and Josh enjoyed their own horse-drawn carriage ride as a newly minted Mr. and Mrs.

Inside the gorgeous Lion and Lamb’s facility, the couple were feted with an elegant and classic reception. Guests looked on from their stunning tables as father/daughter and mother/son dances commenced. The couple were also honored with lovely speeches from friends and family.

The desserts were the talk of the night. Their wedding cake featured a simple but classic two-tier white buttercream design and was garnished with berries and roses. But the groom’s cake stole the show! Josh’s favorite hobby is fishing so Whitney made sure he was “hooked” on this adorable cake.

For Whitney and Josh, their wedding day in Tennessee was more than just a ceremony and reception, it was a time to celebrate their beautiful new family, a new beginning worthy of all the happy tears in the world.
