Windows on Washington Missouri Wedding
Windows on Washington Missouri wedding. There’s just something so charming and alluring about a lovely spring wedding. For Rachel and Luke, their St. Louis garden-inspired wedding was complemented wonderfully by the natural florals of their location. And for a truly memorable experience, a ceremony at their family church and a reception with a view was the highpoint to an incredible wedding day. Soft pastels with vibrant greens made up the color palette for the occasion. Rachel and Luke’s florist provided gorgeous arrangements with ample texture from pink roses, white peonies, dusty miller, and veronica.
Rachel looked stunning in a sweetheart A-line gown with floral details and beaded embellishments. Her hair was styled half-up and she chose statement earrings for a classic look. Her bridesmaids wore powder blue dresses in a various styles.
Luke and his groomsmen chose timeless black tuxedoes. Each donned a black vest, black tie, and a pale pink boutonniere.
The couple took advantage of the alluring scene outside. Trees burst with vibrantly colored blooms and the sunlight was soft and gracious.
Their private escape into the woods made for a beautiful first-look before the ceremony.
Rachel and Luke were married in the same church that their parents attend, making for an even more special experience for all. With the altar flanked by an impressive organ, the two were married in front of their most beloved family and friends.
After the ceremony, the happy couple was feted with a celebration at the appropriately named Windows on Washington. The exposed brick and large windows offered an incredible view and inviting atmosphere for guests.
To complement the dark brick, reception tables were covered with white linens and centerpieces echoed with the pink and white flowers from earlier in the day.
Rachel and Luke provided a fun cookie bar for guests. Along with the classics, they also included adorable sugar cookies decorated with their initial.
The cake was impeccable. A four-tier creation of white and coral was decorated with a stunning white flower cascade along the front.
Rachel and Luke aren’t much of dancers but the DJ was so fun that they took to the floor and never looked back. Their guests also enjoyed getting on their feet and enjoyed the music until the end of the night.
Spring is a season for pretty colors and new beginnings. Rachel and Luke embraced it with their flowery, fun, and fetching wedding. Even after the seasons change and time moves on, they will most certainly have lasting memories of this incredible St. Louis spring day.
