Winter Wedding at The Manor House
Winter Wedding at The Manor House. This wedding from Littleton, Colorado, was daring and divine. Katie and Ryan weren’t scared to get married outside in the snow. For their efforts, they ended up with a pretty spectacular and memorable wedding day thanks to a great venue, texture-filled florals, and an abundance of natural beauty. Set at the Manor House, the couple chose an outdoor setting for their ceremony. With the gorgeous whitewashed Southern-style mansion behind them, and the snow-covered peaks in the distance, a wintry scene was set.
Katie wore a splendid light blue ball gown with delicate beadwork. To keep warm, she wrapped her shoulders in a matching jacket. And because heels were out of the question, Katie embraced the elements and chose a pair of snow boots for her walk down the aisle.
Ryan's style complemented the colors of the wedding - blue, dark red, and black. He looked dashing in a gray suit with a black vest, dark red tie and matching pocket square. The bride and groom were elated to see one another for a first look moment before the ceremony began.
Katie was escorted to the tunes of a small string trio while Ryan was waiting at the head of the aisle. She carried a hearty bouquet of anemones, eucalyptus, lotus flower, brunia berries, thistle, and red ranunculus.
The bride and groom were all smiles as they said "I do" in front of family and friends.
A celebration inside the Manor House followed the ceremony. Guests found their seats from a dainty paper escort card display.
White reception tables and white chivari chairs were set for guests. Centerpieces were complete with the same flowers from the bride's bouquet for a subtle pop of wintry color.
The cake was a simple but sweet creation on the dessert table. A single white tier was adorned with buttercream decoration and topped with a collection of dark buttercream flowers.
To keep their guests cozy during the event, the couple offered chic white blankets tied with black satin ribbon.
Katie and Ryan took some photos outside after the ceremony. They stood out, not only because of the stark landscape, but also, because of their genuine happiness and excitement.
Winter brings with it a pure, natural wonder and beauty - something Katie and Ryan appreciate. Not many couples are brave enough to get married surrounded by snow but this Colorado couple welcomed the opportunity. The result was a picture-perfect success.
