Wormsloe Plantation Georgia Wedding Shoot
Captured under the moss-covered trees of the Wormsloe Plantation in Georgia was this incredibly romantic and spirited styled elopement shoot. Inspired by the notion that one love letter can bring two wandering souls back together, this elopement concept comes to life with delicate colors, soft sunlight, and a handsome couple. In the tender Georgia sunlight, the bride glows in a strapless sweetheart gown. It features a full skirt and a beaded highlight at the waist.
Her plush bouquet features dahlias and orchids and is tied with dusty blue ribbons.
The groom wears a light gray suit and brown shoes. He wears an ivory-colored tie, which he removes later in the shoot.
A small wooden table is set for two with folding wooden chairs. A long, dusty blue table runner adds a touch of color to the scene.
Place settings include unique white dinner and charger plates, crystal cups, and artistic metal floral pieces that each say “Mr.” and “Mrs.”
The table is covered with an assortment of classic and romantic flowers. White candles dripping with wax sit alongside the arrangements and stacks of vintage books.
The long road leading up to Wormsloe is enchanting and is the perfect place for quietude and reflection.
The couple emit the joy and giddiness of any getting married, they just do so only in the presence of each other and the photographer.

Even an elopement warrants a wedding cake. This wooden dessert table features a small unfrosted chocolate cake garnished with blackberries and mint. Two spoons, please!
They relish in laughter as they are seated on an ornate high-back sofa. Together, under the aged moss, they can celebrate with a dreamy, laid back state-of-mind.
In the days where technology governs our every move, handwritten letters have power. The soft, and winding words convey emotion that computer-generated text can’t. And one letter can ignite a connection left waning by other forms of communication.
