Wrightsville Beach Engagement Photos
Kim and Tom had their engagement photos at Wrightsville Beach, N.C., and they owe their beautiful relationship to the nearby river-front city of Wilmington, where love truly brought them together in an unexpected way. Kim hales from Virginia, while Tom is from Scotland. But when this soccer player came to the U.S. to play professionally, he soon became smitten with the blonde college student. Wrightsville Beach has a quality all on its own, a feeling of tranquility paired with the crashing waves and cotton candy sunsets. And this location was idyllic for Kim and Tom, creating an organic comparison between the two – the blue waves matched his shirt and her ring, and the sandy beaches and sunshine play off the golden hues in her hair.
A handsomely bearded Tom wore a light blue shirt and dark blue rolled-up pants. Amanda coordinated with a purple and blue floral sundress. Together, they were radiant and relaxed.
This engagement session is intimate and simple. The carefree nature of their relationship was evident through the casual strolling along the shore and the exchanging of loving looks.
They brought along their four-legged best friend, dressed in an adorable blue bow tie, to mark the occasion. Of course, no good beach dog can contain their excitement around the waves.
Tom’s piercing blue eyes punch through the lens and are echoed through the color of his shirt.
Amanda is a natural beauty who embraces the beachy style.
They laugh, they hug, and they snuggle with their dog – looking as if this is what they do all the time when the cameras aren’t rolling. And that is magical.
Sometimes love brings us to unexpected places, both physically and emotionally, that we never could’ve imagined. But that’s the funny thing about love – it’s unpredictable.
For Kim and Tom, their relationship bloomed in a city on the water. And now, their beach-inspired engagement session gives them one more reason to love this special place.
