When Elizabeth and Jackson tied the knot in Dallas, Texas at the Aldredge House, their nuptials were absolutely amazing because of their attire and the place that they selected.
They had an outdoor affair in the garden area of this magnificent edifice. The mansion provided such a wonderful backdrop. The history of this building makes it an ideal location. The construction of this home began in 1915 by William J Lewis as a gift for his new bride. From the beginning, this mansion represented the love between a man and woman. How special is that? Even though the venue was incredible, there were other elements of the nuptials that made this event elegant.
First let's talk about the bride. The gown was breathtaking. It was strapless with a simple design but also ornate due to the flowers delicately placed on the waistband and on the skirt. It was so simple yet elegant. The bouquet was also amazing and were perfect. They did not have roses but gardenias and hydrangeas which were excellent choices. She complemented her outfit with gold shoes as well as a single strand of pearls. Of course, since this was also a traditional wedding, Elizabeth had a veil. By selecting gold shoes, Elizabeth showed that even a traditional bride can be trendy. Jackson looked so handsome in his black tuxedo and white bow tie. They made such an attractive couple that fit the magnificence of the venue that they had selected.
The reception was just as elegant. The tables had white tablecloths with wonderful centerpieces. The centerpieces had a mirrored base with gardenias and hydrangeas. There were tea candles placed delicately around the floral arrangements. Their wedding cake was also amazing. It was four layers with flowers on the top and on the side. There were gold ribbons on each layer.
It is very easy to have the wedding of your dreams by simply paying attention to the details. Elizabeth and Jackson selected the right venue, the right gown and even the right flowers to provide the ambiance that they desired for their big day.
