It is a wonderful way to capture one of the most important times in your relationship. The "in love" stage. No one has to prompt you to smile when you are with your mate, it comes naturally. There isn't any right or wrong way to do it but it is essential that you have fun. Meg and Adam used different outfits and props to have a great time during their engagement session and it was displayed in the amazing pictures that were produced.
Believe it or not, choosing the right venue is essential. You want a location that has special meaning or will provide an opportunity for multiple backdrops. Meg and Adam first met at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York so they decided to have their engagement session where their relationship began. It was a great choice because they truly looked relaxed and like they were simply having fun in the images. They took pictures all over campus. They could be seen in the library, by the waterfront, just strolling along, in front of buildings or even in alleyways. It did not matter. Their love just jumped off the images. It was clear that they were very comfortable in this environment.
Meg and Adam also added variety by changing outfits. They were dressed up in some frames and in others they opted for more relaxed ensembles. They also used an umbrella as a prop and obtained some great pictures.
As you can see, an engagement session is a wonderful way for a couple to have fun, be relaxed and to get pictures that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
