Austin Texas Wedding
Austin Texas Wedding. Erica and Titus live in Chicago and planned their entire Austin, Texas, wedding long distance. The hard work paid off! Their day at The Addison Grove was as elegant as it was endearing. From the outdoor ceremony to the groom’s cake, all the details matched up for a seamless event.
Erica had eight bridesmaids stand by her side on her wedding day. The gorgeous group of gals got ready in matching floral robes and were all smiles as their beloved Erica enjoyed her last few hours before the ceremony.
Erica was a stunning bride, and it all started with her shoes. These luxuriously beaded heels were the perfect pair in which to walk down the aisle!
Her bridal style included a V-neck gown with thin straps and a sleek fit-and-flare silhouette. She chose a traditional veil for the ceremony and pinned her softly curled hair up on one side.
Her bridesmaids also got to show off their own personal styles with dresses of their choosing in complementary shades of gold. For a pop of color, Erica incorporated shades of blush and burgundy into their bouquets.
After taking a few solo photos, Erica snuck up behind her awaiting groom, Titus. Standing in his navy blue tuxedo, she tapped him on the shoulder and was greeted by a warm embrace.
They held hands and enjoyed their time together before joining back up with their entire bridal party for a few last minute – and fun! – photos.
The ceremony scene was set under the venue’s oak trees. Guests were greeted with a handwritten sign, imploring them to sit on either side.
The dark chivari chairs along the aisle were dressed with blush pink sashes and eucalyptus nosegays.
At the head of the aisle was the arbor, fashioned with a creative curtain made from strands of carnations in colors that presented an ombre effect.
In their chic gold dresses, bridesmaids lead the way down the aisle before Erica was escorted to the ceremony.
There under the tall oak trees, they said their vows and made their promises to one another.
The mothers of both the bride and groom joined them to light a unity candle.
After sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, it was time to celebrate! Guests found their seats thanks to watercolor place cards in the most beautiful shade of burgundy.
The venue boasts amazing architecture, including its high wooden ceilings and beams.
Reception tables were outfitted with scripted wooden table numbers and petite centerpieces with blooms featuring the colors of the day.
The head table was dressed with a burgundy table runner, tall white taper candles, lots of florals and gold accents.
And for a sweet sign-off to the evening, guests could partake from a beautiful dessert table, which featured mini cupcakes and cookies, as well as three simple buttercream wedding cakes garnished with colorful flowers. And of course, no one could miss the “W” groom’s cake in honor of the Chicago natives' hometown Cubs.
Erica and Titus’ Austin Texas wedding included a lot of details and fortunately, everything flowed together in a seamless way. From the fashion, to the ceremony décor, to the reception, it was a colorful and elegant day in Austin that these Chicago cuties couldn’t have planned any better.
