Becoming Lively at Graylyn Estate
The Lively Workshop was an idea born of the creative genius from renowned photographer Perry Vaile and the impeccably talented stylings of Rebecca Rose Creative. The workshop invited photographers to explore the many facets of wedding photography and the entire experience took place at Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The workshop featured a styled shoot that captured the essence of fine art film photography and celebrated all the incredible topics discussed among attendees and presenters. Within the grand venue, Rose, Vaile, and a handpicked team of wedding enthusiasts curated a delicate and romantic experience. They even stepped outside to show how rain on a wedding day can be unexpectedly breathtaking.
A bride dressed in a lace illusion gown with flowing skirt made her way around some of the most notable features of the property.
She held onto a bouquet bursting with bold blooms like roses, delphinium, and eucalyptus, and showed off a gorgeous rose gold bauble and ivory embellished peep toe heels.
A celebratory scene is set in front of the large fireplace. The tablescape is styled with a mix of both contemporary and natural touches. A blue linen, statement centerpiece, and metallic gold pillars amp up the elegance.
Each place setting includes a white octagonal charger plate balanced with a delicate floral plate on top, with a brown napkin nestled in between.
Vintage green drinking glasses and gold flatware complete the courtly ambiance.
The four-tier cake reflects the invitation suite with its inclusion of tender pink flowers. Each tier is a different height, and the third stands out with its rose gold shine. A small collection of flowers completes the sweet, but up-to-the-minute confection.
The bride didn't surrender to the rain clouds and retreated to the vintage car at Graylyn. Without missing a single beat, the bride looked sensational peeking out the window with wonder.
Exhaling a fresh breath of modern style into the storied estate, the florals, metallics, and vintage decor dreamed up by this talented team were just some of the ways timeless met trendy in this resplendent styled shoot.
