Bernkastel Germany Anniversary.

These two had quite the wedding day experience. Their wedding photographer was extremely late, didn't get the 'important' photographs we all hang above our mantle, and didn't have a great attitude or treat their wedding day with respect. Because of that combined with other wedding day events, it's not a day that Christian and Bonnie look back on fondly.

That's why they chose to hold an intimate vow renewal as well as anniversary portraits. They wanted a 'redo' on the engagement and wedding photographs they felt they missed out on and they wanted a day and photographs to remember fondly that celebrates their relationship rather than gives them a negative vibe!

For their anniversary portraits, we headed to the Mosel Valley in Germany in the vineyard town, Bernkastel. Bernkastel is known for its Reisling wine and beautiful timber lined homes on hilly cobblestone paths.

We were able to celebrate Christian and Bonnies love story right IN the vineyards and throughout the picturesque town! Oh, and the cat? It's important to me as the photographer to capture their experience. Christian and Bonnie fell in love with this friendly bakery kitten so I had to include it in their gallery because capturing their story through this amazing little town was my number one priority.
