Brookside Gardens Engagement Photos
When you take engagement photos outside, you take a chance with nature, and fortunately for Jake and Amelia, their Brookside Gardens engagement photos in Wheaton, Maryland, happened at just the right time in the season. The azaleas were in full bloom. The vivid pink petals were abundant and plush, and made for a sweet statement to their session.
The photographer was able to capture a few classic ring shots with the budding blossoms as their inspiration but of course, Jake and Amelia stole the show.
Amelia channeled her bridal style and chose a short white dress and accessorized with flirty white heels and statement blue earrings. Jake kept his look polished and casual with khaki pants, a blue shirt, colorful tie and a navy jacket.
These two looked simply enamored with one another as the colorful clouds of flowers sat behind them.
As every couple should, Amelia and Jake managed to have fun while taking their photos, showing off the softer, more carefree side of their relationship.
It’s no wonder the couple chose the award-winning Brookside Gardens for the location of their engagement session. Blooming flowers and quiet corners were in abundance, dotting their photos with a sweet and delicate gentility.
Their style and expressions couldn’t have been more ideal for this location. The white of her dress and the red of his tie echoed the colorful display in nature, creating a seamless and cohesive look behind the lens.
You don’t have to have a ton of outfit changes or a grand, over-the-top idea to capture perfect engagement photos. As long as you stay true to yourselves, your style, and your relationship, the most important qualities will shine through - and a wink from Mother Nature never hurts!
