Chateau Cocomar Houston TX Wedding. Being sent off to run errands by your boyfriend may seem strange but for Megan, it meant the surprise of a lifetime was being set. When she returned home to an awaiting Matthew holding a new puppy, he asked her to look at his collar. It simply said “Marry Me?” and of course, Megan said “yes!” It comes as no surprise that their wedding would be described as romantic. Soft pink, white and sparkling gold served as the creative color palette for the day. In Houston's Chateau Cocomar, the two said “I do” in front of their most beloved family and friends.
The ceremony took place inside, with gold chivari chairs set up neatly for guests in front of two tall flower arrangements. The aisle was lined with rose petals and glass vases with candles.
Megan walked down the aisle in a stunning beaded fit-and-flare gown with bridesmaids in long blush dresses at her side.
They strolled the property for intimate photos before the reception began, as well as took the time to take photos with members of their bridal party.
Matthew wore a dark gray tuxedo with black bowtie. His groomsmen wore similar tuxedos with white vests and ties.
Inside a grand ballroom, guests were seated at round reception tables with gold and blush details galore. Gold candleholders, charger plates, and table numbers were centered around both tall and short pink rose centerpieces
Megan and Matthew wanted their Houston wedding to be elegant, without being over-the-top. Their venue, colors, and overall experience created a captivating and amorous event; an event they will remember as perfect and beautiful in every way.
