Chicago Lakeside Wedding Inspiration.

While Chicago is well known for it's glorious skyline, it is often overlooked for it's equally beautiful shoreline. With this inspiration shoot, Storybook Weddings wanted to showcase the fact that midwestern brides need not hop a flight to CA to dig their toes in the sand on their wedding day! The Shore Club, perfectly situated along Lakeshore Avenue, made the perfect venue!

Heather looked absolutely radiant in her flowing gown from Honey Bridal as she walked towards her groom. With the stunning Lake Michigan as the backdrop, Heather radiated pure elegance and style! Her groom couldn't take her eyes off of her as he waited for her under a floral arch adorned in florals and designed by Dilly Lilly.

The ceremony at The Shore Club was incredibly cozy and romantic environment! Guests then entered the tented reception where a hand calligraphed sign welcomed the couple as well as tables covered in jewel-toned florals and matching linens. The bride carried a delicate bouquet of daises and dahlias which added a feminine touch to the ambiance. Heather even wore her grandmother's vintage ring and earrings for her "something blue"! 

Her groom couldn't take her eyes off of her as he waited for her under a floral arch adorned in florals and designed by Dilly Lilly.

We'll admit that the gorgeous cake from Toni Patisserie had us salivating - especially on the beautifully arranged plating adorned with figs and berries!
