Katie and Chad’s outdoor wedding at the Flying V Ranch in Decatur, Texas, was a splendid mix of classic, elegant and rustic styles. They wanted their big day to be one big party celebrating their marriage with the help of family and friends. With the incorporation of timeless white florals on the backdrop of a gorgeous ranch setting, these two said “I do” in a meaningful, memorable way.

White roses, greenery and dainty touches of lavender summated much of the floral presentation, providing a cohesive look between the bouquet, the boutonnieres and the reception centerpieces.

The sprawling ranch was an idyllic place to host the wedding activities. The bride got ready in a small farmhouse where the walls were as white as her gown.

She chose a lace fit-and-flare style that featured a lace V-neck and sheer back, of which she complemented with a finger-tip length veil. She accessorized with stud earrings and dramatic eye makeup to complete her bridal look.

Her bridesmaids all shined in long lavender dresses and statement earrings as they carried bouquets full of white blooms.

Chad chose a dark blue suit with a light blue shirt. His style was polished with a unique bow tie and brown shoes. His groomsmen matched – san jackets – and were eager to see the groom off.

Guests were greeted with white arched double doors and seated in long white pews.

Katie and Chad wed under a wooden arbor embellished with flowers. They sealed their vows with a kiss and returned back up the aisle elated to finally be husband and wife.

They took their first photos as “Mr. and Mrs.” before making their way to the reception.

The whitewashed walls of the reception space were complemented by the vibrant blue linen napkins, gold chargers and tall lanterns. The head table, placed in front of the fireplace, featured a gorgeous runner made of greenery that infused a refreshing touch.

In planning their special day, Katie wanted to make sure it was especially meaningful. So, guests were treated to tasty drinks and Texas biscuits with a selection of toppings all handpicked by the bride and her mother.

The bride also provided guests with a cookie bar. Having once been employed by a local cookie shop, she honored their business with a variety of their cookies for guests to take home.

And before the night was through, Katie and Chad shared a special private dance as husband and wife, a time to take a deep breath and savor the last few moments of their wedding.

Katie and Chad wanted their day to reflect them as a couple. And with all of the personalized additions and attention to detail, they planned a special event that spoke to the most important things in their life. Together with family and friends, Katie and Chad were surrounded by love on their day – with more than enough space to share it.
