Classic Wedding in St Louis
Classic Wedding in St Louis. Camille and Michael had an elegant and classic wedding in St. Louis, and the entire event centered around their history with St. Louis University. It was there that they first met as undergraduate students, leaving no doubt that they would marry at St. Francis Xavier College Church on their beloved campus.
The invitation suite was a bright and bucolic preview of the day ahead. Delicate flowers, graceful colors, and timeless script combined for a lovely design.
Camille was a classic bride and she beamed throughout her wedding day look. Peep-toe heels with bow accents and rose gold jewelry are just some of the accessories she incorporated.
She celebrated with her bridesmaids in matching outfits while getting ready at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel.
Camille chose a rose, pink peony, and eucalyptus bouquet to carry down the aisle. She wore a graceful strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, A-line skirt, and lace overlay. With a traditional veil, she wore her beautiful brown hair down by her shoulders.
Her bridesmaids looked cheerful in lavender pink dresses and also carried bouquets similar to the bride’s.
Michael wore a navy blue tuxedo with brown shoes for his wedding day attire. He laid eyes on his bride Camille for the first time as she was walking down the awe-inspiring aisle at College Church. His smile could be felt all the way in the back row.
After the heartfelt ceremony, the couple rejoiced as they exited the church amid their guests.
With the gentle sunlight from the early afternoon, they took resplendent photos in and around the church and campus before making their way to Forest Park for their reception at the Visitor’s Center.
Guests were greeted with a charming sign to welcome them to the celebration. Inside, the hall shone with brilliance. The ceiling glowed with bistro lights and sheer fabric draped from the beams. Tall centerpieces featured the bride’s favorite colorful blooms in clear vases for a lovely balance of color and texture.
At each place setting, guests were offered dinner baguettes with the evening’s menu printed right on the bag.
Camille and Michael’s seats were marked with scripted “bride” and “groom” signs tied with blush pink ribbons.
The couple’s three-tier cake was decorated with simple bands of white buttercream and topped with peonies and eucalyptus.
Their reception featured lots of energy, dancing, and humorous toasts from loved ones.
The best part was when the night sky fell, the couple had a lantern send off to watch their well wishes and joy float into the air.
There was no question that Camille and Michael chose a sentimental place for their wedding. By incorporating personalized touches and an elegant flair, they made this high profile spot in St. Louis all-their-own.
