Clayton Austin TX Photo Workshop
Texas photographer Clayton Austin hosted a workshop and curated a styled wedding shoot that will render anyone speechless. An attention to unconventional detail built upon beloved wedding traditions creates a scene that is artistic and moving. The look and feel of the shoot rests on the wild and natural location. The invitation suite reflects that quality with its pressed flower design, modern script, and neutral colors.
One look at the bride’s ring and you know it’s going to be an intriguing wedding vision.
The raw nature of this large, texture-filled bouquet is exquisite. Tied with ribbons of a natural hue, it adds a sense of refinement to an unrefined arrangement.
Color has cemented its place in the wedding gown industry as of late, and this style is no exception. A long-sleeve black lace ball gown with a multi-colored skirt is a stunning and confident answer to the wedding dress trends often seen today.
The groom wears a simple black suit with a bow tie and unique metallic boutonniere.
Together, this bride and groom make a majestic and modern Mr. and Mrs.
They celebrate in unique fashion, as well. Instead of a veil, the bride wears a hat as she joins the groom at the table.
Even the vintage flatware looks as if it holds many a secret with its aged appearance.
The table is set with tall wrought iron candleholders and a Southwestern-style table runner.
Clayton Austin designed the table to incorporate both natural and artistic elements that tie the Austin landscape to his vision.
The cake features a simple gold design with contrasting floral touches.
Much of the shoot includes pieces made with natural materials, such as the wicker chargers, wooden chairs and this wooden server - a perfect spot for drinks.
Camels offer an exotic spin on reception celebrations and their gorgeous caramel-colored fur is highlighted in the setting sun.
As the sky goes from peach to pink to purple, the visionary behind the lens captures the natural environment remarkably for a wedding scene that is beyond breathtaking.
