Country Classic Wedding Inspiration
Country Classic Wedding Inspiration.
As if it emerged straight from the pages of the classic romance novel The Notebook, this wedding shoot brims with quiet intimacy and natural beauty. Think vintage lace, unimposing ruffles, a soft breeze, raw stone backdrops, and pastel blooms with lots of greenery.
From the dense pond dotted with lilypads to the horses grazing in the pasture to the stone cottage and fences, plush apple trees, cut glass decanters filled with gin infusions and dainty desserts, this shoot unveils a couple who enjoys the simple life, doesn’t try too hard and is comfortable in their own skin.
Shot at The Ravenswood which was built during the reign of Henry VI in 1426, this large estate proved the perfect space for intimacy and raw, natural beauty. From 1426 until 1974, the estate changed hands many times and was altered, added to, forgotten, completely torn down due to dilapidation, remembered and built back up. It’s seen many facelifts and held the stories of many occupants throughout the centuries. Today it stands as a beautiful hotel and restaurant where its halls and walls recount some of those old tales and become the backdrop for new ones to be drafted.
