DIY Backyard Florida Real Wedding
Backyard Florida Real Wedding. Sometimes the perfect wedding location is right in your backyard and Amanda and Ben chose her parent's as their ideal ceremony and reception space. The setting couldn't have been a more perfect complement to their do-it-yourself vision, as not a single detail was spared in this fetching Florida wedding. And in true Sunshine State fashion, bright color and a relaxed atmosphere were the trademarks of the day. Friends and family looked on lovingly as Amanda and Ben exchanged vows under the trees. The aisle was simple, nature was the decorator and there was plenty of sunshine to peek through the leaves.
Amanda's bridal look was simple yet resplendent. Her empire waist gown flowed at the bottom and her striking auburn hair was accompanied by a waist-length veil. With her white dress and the perfect minimalism of her attire, Amanda beamed on her wedding day. Her bridesmaids looked bright and breezy in an assortment of sundresses in hues of orange, pale blue and ivory. Each dress was unique to the bridesmaid and the only uniform detail appeared in their bouquets, which were collections of orange and white blossoms with long, chartreuse stems.
The same attitude was taken with the attire of the groom and his groomsmen. Ben paired a pink plaid button-down shirt with navy pants and added a pale blue jacket over top. His tie was dark but his smile was bright. His groomsmen went without jackets and each had their own personal look. There were suspenders, ties, vests and bowties. The harmonizing colors and bright boutonnieres tied the group together in a remarkable way.
Following the ceremony, the reception was a masterpiece of personal touches. Guests were greeted with chalkboards outlining the night's events and menu. Instead of name cards, wooden plaques with guests names accompanied each place setting. Everyone was seated at long tables draped with clean, white tablecloths accented with burlap runners and wildflowers that burst with color. They even got an extra dose of starlight since the space also included strands of clear lights strung high above.
As guests feted Amanda and Ben, they enjoyed pulled pork and beef brisket and washed it all down from mason jars filled with sweet tea. And to have something sweet to take home after the reception, Amanda and Ben gave their guests orange blossom honey “ so fitting!
The perfect thing about this wedding was the lack of conformity and the ability to make distinctive differences come together in a delightful way, creating a feast for the eyes. Guests could see sprinkles of Amanda and Ben in every personalized detail because just like their relationship, they were fashioned from a place of love. - Backyard Florida Real Wedding
