Edgewood Valley Country Club Wedding
Edgewood Valley Country Club Wedding.
The Edgewood Valley Country Club was the perfect spot for Katy and Stephen’s classic La Grange, Ill., nuptials. From timeless fashion to beautiful modern reception décor, the couple had a sophisticated and stylish affair that was ultra-sweet. The bride is a professional cake maker, after all!
The invitation suite exuded an art deco design reminiscent of grand parties from yesteryear.
The bride chose a gown that offered convertible style. For her pre-ceremony photos, she wore the beaded lace jacket atop the mermaid-style gown. For the ceremony, she affixed a long veil to her low updo.
Her bouquet, much like the wedding vision, was bright and airy with blush roses, succulents and eucalyptus.
Her bridesmaids looked stunning in long blush gowns that featured necklines of their own personal choosing.
The groom wore a classic black tuxedo complete with a black bow tie and small succulent boutonniere.
The couple were wed in a sunlit church in front of their dearest family and friends. They departed the church in a cloud of bubbles.
The entire bridal party looked utterly eternal as they posed for photos in front of the club house.
Katy got reception-ready by removing her lace jacket to show off her shoulders and the sweetheart neckline of her gown.
Their reception took place underneath a gorgeous clear tent, with a ceiling of string lights offering a gentle sparkle on the ceiling.
The modern aesthetic continued through the couple’s personalized signage, the floral chandeliers, clean, crisp menu cards – and don’t forget lots of donuts.
The couple infused romance with blush and white floral centerpieces, candles and gorgeous clear glassware.
Of course, this cake-loving bride would have a picture-perfect culinary confection! The wedding cake was an infusion of color and the bride’s passion. A five-tier blush pink cake featured a cascade of delicate flowers from top to bottom.
Katy and Stephen had the perfect vantage point at their early evening reception. And from their personalized chairs, the world stopped for just a second as they shared a kiss.
This country club wedding was the perfect mix of fabulous and fun. From a plethora of donuts to a plethora of pretty pastels, the timeless style of Katy and Stephen’s wedding day was perfect in every way. A few unique touches made it a personalized experience that will still be exquisite for many years to come.
