From the bride: Rich and I both grew up in Geneva, Illinois and we have known each other since middle school. Although we were friends, we did not start dating until we started college at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. There was no official first date or corny pick-up line but rather a friendship that grew into love. We studied, played tennis, ate late night pizza together and enjoyed four years hanging out with our close group of friends. After college, we were both set on moving back to Chicago to start our careers. Four years later, Rich proposed at sunset while we were on vacation in California. Our vision for our wedding was simple and classic. There was no venue more perfect for our vision to come alive than the Chicago History Museum with its black and white tiled floor, delicate chandeliers and beautiful stone pillars on the back patio. And conveniently located in a neighborhood we had spent the last four years exploring together.
