Huntsville State Park TX Wedding
Kelsey and Andrew held their lovely outdoor wedding at Huntsville State Park in Texas. They took special care to incorporate nature into their big day while also including blush pinks, charming details, and fun personalization. Their invitation suite certainly gave a great impression about their big day. With quirky craft cardstock and a pine branch design, guests knew they were in for a fun outdoor affair at the Raven Lodge.
Kelsey’s bridal style can be described as ethereal. She chose sparkling silver heels for her walk down the aisle.
Her dress was an A-line V-neck gown with beading and lace, and a stunning open back. To complete the look, her hair was styled in a lovely updo with a beaded headband.
The bridesmaids wore assorted blush pink dresses, showcasing their personal styles. Uniquely enough, Kelsey and her bridesmaids carried bouquets made simply with greenery and baby’s breath - such an ingenious and elegant floral idea.
To complement the blush color of the day, Andrew wore a light pink and blue patterned tie to match his dark gray, three-piece suit. Similarly, his boutonniere was also fashioned with greenery and baby’s breath.
Andrew’s groomsmen also wore dark gray suits and dark ties to match.
The entire bridal party took photos before the ceremony and made for quite a handsome bunch. The sunshine was golden as the couple and their loved ones smiled on.
Before they said “I do,” Kelsey and Andrew took one last photo before becoming husband and wife.
Guests were greeted at the ceremony space with a handwritten sign and wooden chairs set out neatly, row by row.
With the sun shining on her face, Kelsey was escorted down the aisle to her awaiting groom.
Overlooking the shimmery water, the two were wed in front of an arbor fashioned with branches.
They exchanged vows, rings, kisses – and of course, a little laughter.
Their reception took place inside where guests were encouraged to sign their “guest tree.”
The dessert table featured an assortment of flavorful cakes, all designed with cute handmade signs.
Using the venue as decorative inspiration, guests were seated at long reception tables covered in white linens. Décor included metallic votives and vases all atop thin wooden slats.
Outside behind the lodge, the couple enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife. The sun was beginning to sink below the tree line, casting a romantic glow on the evening.
When a couple is as much in love as Kelsey and Andrew, it permeates through every detail. From the first look to the first dance, their day was a genuine affair that resonated in the hearts of everyone in attendance. Congratulations!
