Mayton Inn Wedding Inspiration. Cary, N.C., is a gem of a Southern city and it’s here that you’ll find the equally charming Mayton Inn. Built with elegance and sophistication, this venue is also an amazing location to explore and foster inventive wedding ideas.
This styled shoot combines modern and contemporary touches with an elegant flair. The contrast between the two can be seen centrally through the styles of the bride and groom.
The groom sports a white tuxedo jacket trimmed with black piping and black pants. Together, their styles are both current and classic.
The bride dons a lace fit-and-flare gown with a boat neckline and beaded belt. It features an open back and dramatic pleated skirt. She carries a lively bouquet.
The small bridal party coordinates beautifully. The groomsmen's attire matches the groom's, while the two bridesmaids each wear a dress in a complementary shade of light pink. Flanked on both sides of the couple, the entire group looks fresh and fashionable in the gray and white room.

An original idea is to use various glass jars of different colors for the seating chart. Each jar is written with calligraphy and shows which guests sit at which table. The display creates a feast for the eyes against the neutral walls and windows.
And while much of the event has a colorful and artistic flair, the cake is beautifully timeless with its white tiers, floral appliques, and thin bands of color.
