Mooresville NC Christmas Themed Winter Real Wedding
Who says that you can't have an outdoor wedding in the winter? It might be colder but it can be done. When Chelsi and Steven got married in Mooresville, North Carolina, it was a family affair. Both sides contributed to make this winter nuptials amazing. This is really a great idea during this season since Thanksgiving and Christmas as such family oriented holidays. The wedding really represented a blending of the two becoming one. They had such unique elements that could definitely be used if your wedding occurred on or around Christmas Day.
The chairs at the wedding had big bows on the back. They used pine cones down the aisle, on the tables at the reception and even as the cake topper. This was definitely unique. We can't forget about the snowmen. They were so cute. The tables at the reception were also amazing. The centerpieces had snow at the bottom of the vases with twigs instead of flowers. What a great choice given the time of year. Also, the table was also uniquely decorated. It had a white tablecloth with a runner down the center. There were snow balls and candles which flanked the centerpieces. It was a great presentation. As a nice accent, they tied a piece rope with a knot around the chairs for the bride and groom. It was a pictorial representation of their vows.
This is one wedding where the wedding cake was not the only sweet that people wanted to eat. There were lollipops, cupcakes and other assorted sweets. It really looked too good to eat. The wedding cake was really nice and a great design choice given the time of year. The layers resembled big snow balls. It was very stunning.
First of all, the wedding took place outside at night. What is more romantic than that? Not only do you have the wonderful sky with the stars but they hung lights from the trees which gave the atmosphere a magical feel. It was so beautiful. It looked as though Chelsi and Steven were there alone as you saw their silhouettes in the moonlight. As we mentioned earlier, this was truly an effort from both sides to make this day special. Steven's dad is a preacher and performed the marriage ceremony. Chelsi's mom cooked all of the food. Many of the items used in the decor were do-it-yourself projects. This was a beautiful wedding that incorporated the loving hands of everyone to make it memorable.
Well, the bridal party also looked amazing. Chelsi wore a beautiful strapless gown that was pure simple elegance. She looked great with her drop earrings. She did not wear a necklace which was not a necessary accessory. She had her hair pulled back in a loose bun and wore a veil. This was a very classic look but she was stunning. Her brides maids wore short black dresses which was perfect since this was a night wedding. The groomsmen also wore black. The bouquets were twig like designs instead of flowers. This was a wonderful idea since this was a winter wedding.
If you are planning on getting married in the winter and want to have the ceremony outdoors, it can be wonderful. It is more challenging due to the weather, but Chelsi and Steven showed it can be done. You can create your own winter wonderland by being creative and using a little ingenuity. Be creative and paint a picture in your mind. Enjoy your family today and wishing you a happy and blessed day.
Merry Christmas from Trendy Bride.
