Mossy Oaks Farm Styled Engagement
Down in Georgia sits Mossy Oaks Farm, where this springtime styled engagement shoot came to life. With a desire to include lavender and tulle, the product was a sweet and simple session that also included the often unseen, but always there accessory – a camera. This shoot was all about embracing the environment and it took place next to the marshy waters of Brooklet.
The bride wore a chambray button down shirt tied at the waist, and paired it with a darling tulle skirt. And for her, it truly was all about the accessories. A chunky statement necklace, gold bangles and earrings, and a side-braid all added to the most important one of all – that ring!
She sweetly held a small bunch of lavender for a fragrant reminder of her role to come.
The groom donned a patterned button down shirt, dark jeans rolled at the ankle, and brown shoes. The small touch of pink in his shirt complemented the pink of the bride’s skirt.
And a springtime shoot isn’t complete without an adorable bicycle.
The couple hopped on for a few sweet shots.
Next, they sat on the steps of an historic house, making for a classic and casual shot.
Then, they walked over to the long dirt road of the plantation, reminding us of the South's beauty and romanticism.
Springtime in the South means later sunsets, longer strolls, and shorter sleeves. The photographer managed to capture the essence of an engaged couple's youthful outlook in South Carolina and how breathing in the fresh air and admiring nature’s transitions can set the heart alight.
