Omaha Country Club Nebraska Wedding. Laurin and Thom's Midwest wedding was classic, romantic, and beautiful. Their ceremony took place at the historic St. John's Parish at Creighton University and they celebrated in a garden-inspired reception at the Omaha Country Club.
Laurin wore a strapless gown with beautiful lace appliques and a stunning beaded highlight at the waist. She also chose a traditional veil to adorn her blonde updo. For their first look moment before the ceremony, she snuck up behind her awaiting groom.
Thom wore a strapping black tuxedo with a black tie. He and Laurin shared a surprising, sweet, and sentimental moment outside St. John's before the bridal party joined in.
Their large group made quite a beautiful gathering. Nine bridesmaids were dressed in blush infinity style dresses. Three small flower girls wore lovely ivory-colored dresses. Nine groomsmen donned black tuxedoes with black bowties. And two small ring bearers rounded out the handsome group.
Laurin and her dad peeked into the church before the ceremony started.
She was then escorted down the aisle, taking the entire experience in behind a sparkling blusher.
At the altar, the couple smiled and laughed as they made their commitments to one another. In front of the joyful gathering of loved ones, they sealed their vows with a kiss.
Guests were greeted at the reception with beloved photos from the weddings of Laurin and Thom's family members. They also found their seats from a beautiful moss-framed seating arrangement.
Breathtaking wooden beams, large chandeliers, and romantic string lights created a truly remarkable reception space. Round reception tables were covered with textured blush linens and featured both tall and short centerpieces.
The flower arrangements featured wispy willow, roses, and greenery. Framed table numbers, small plants in silver mercury glass, and candles rounded out the reception decor.
Outside on the lawn, Laurin and Thom took romantic post-ceremony photos with their reception venue in the distance. The lovely brick exterior with cascading ivy looked exquisite behind the timeless pair.
They enthusiastically cut into a multi-tiered cake covered with curled fondant. To mirror the beautiful floral work of the day, the confection was also delicately touched with flowers on each layer.
The enduring quality of a classic wedding will never go out of style. Laurin and Thom's wedding day was just as time-honored and everlasting as their love for one another. Congratulations!
