Orlando FL Wedding from Tara Libby Photography
Orlando FL Wedding from Tara Libby Photography. From the start of their wedding planning, Mariah and Joshua knew they would push the envelope. They simply wanted to incorporate elements that made them happy, even if it meant defying tradition. The result was a colorful and intimate affair with 60 guests in Orlando, Florida.
Mariah was a stunning bride in a strapless blush and pink wedding dress. It featured a figure-flattering mermaid silhouette with lace embellishments and dramatic tulle skirt. She accessorized with a fingertip-length veil, a hair adornment, delicate jewelry, and a beautiful updo.
The couple decided upon a first look moment before the ceremony. Outside in the Florida sunshine, Joshua turned around to see his bride, radiant in white and beaming from cheek to cheek. He was dressed in a gray vest, gray pants, and a coral tie.
Both were overjoyed and teemed with excitement. It was a chance for them to share one last moment together before the ceremony and became one of their favorite memories of the day.
The bridal party also joined in to the pre-ceremony photos. Mariah’s bridesmaids wore long gray strapless dresses with sweetheart necklines and light gray ribbon waistbands. The groomsmen looked clean and crisp in white shirts, blue bowties, suspenders, and gray pants.
The invitations were handwritten in calligraphy, so it was a fitting touch to have handmade signs in similar style at the wedding, as well. The first sign greeted guests at the ceremony and asked them to sit anywhere.
With the sounds of live acoustic music filling the air, Mariah walked down a brick path to her awaiting groom. Standing in front of an arbor drenched in floral swags, the two exchanged personalized vows.
As the sun was peeking through the trees, Mariah and Joshua sealed their vows with a kiss.
Mariah and Joshua wanted to document every second of their wedding, and they encouraged guests to tag wedding photos on Instagram. The hashtag was included on hand painted wooden pallets and in gold picture frames
The reception area was bright and beautiful. Tables covered in white linens were enhanced with light green napkins and runners of greenery and white pillar candles. At each guest’s place setting was also a thank you note for their love and support.
At the end of the reception, the guests retreated outside. Under the night sky, they released Chinese paper lanterns for a sentimental sign-off to Mariah and Joshua’s wedding day.
It’s okay to part ways with tradition if it’s what you truly want. Mariah and Joshua had a list of wedding must-haves that might not fit the traditional mold, but they made rule-breaking look formal - with some sprinkles of fun!
