Organic Garden Styled Wedding Shoot from Iowa
Organic Garden Styled Wedding Shoot from Iowa. When planning your wedding, you have complete control over the look and feel of the big day. One thing you can't control is the weather but that shouldn't deter you from embracing the experience. This organic styled shoot in Iowa showcased a beautiful and intimate affair for Ben and Holly. The couple embraced the intimacy and warmth while using Mother Nature's hiccups as simply an exciting backdrop for the day.
The color palette was a soft coupling of green and white. The combination was incorporated into the invitation suite with a beautiful ombre design, all encased in soft blush envelopes, emulating romantic and natural qualities.
In place of a veil, Holly was styled with a flower crown. A gorgeous collection of blooms, including greenery, roses, peony, and eucalyptus create an abundant and fragrant accessory. She pairs it with a simple pair of studded earrings and light, airy makeup.
The bouquet, which mirrors the look of the floral crown, includes white hydrangea, white roses, baby's breath, eucalyptus and tree fern. The burgeoning arrangement looks as if it was wildly picked and bundled together.
The groom's boutonniere also features greenery and a white rose. Ben looks classic and cool in a dark suit, white shirt and light gray tie. In the background is a wall of leafy greens for added style.
Holding onto her bouquet and her groom, Holly looks relaxed and resplendent in a simple gown. It features a wide boat neck with straps, a slim fit and a tiered fluttery skirt. Her hair is styled in an elegant and wispy updo.
With the bouquet front and center, Ben gives his bride a delicate kiss. The colors of the flower arrangements and the location are perfectly in-sync for a seamless shoot.
Even the door of the next location is green! Standing in front of a large set of stone steps, the couple was able to get in a few more shots before the rain set in. They made their way inside to escape the rain and enjoy the experience.
For the second half of the shoot, the look and feel was similar to the session outside. Large arrangements of white and green florals were placed about the room, with romantic calligraphy signs.
In addition to the centerpiece, the table featured plates of pastries, white and gold place settings, and large gold candelabras with tall white candles. It was set in front of a large window so the couple could listen to the soft rainfall outside.
Because of the lack of natural light, the photographer had to get creative with lighting. The simple and stunning solution was a few strands of globe string lights across the ceiling for a beautiful glow.
The petite naked wedding cake is delicious and divine and perfect for an intimate elopement occasion. Four tiers are held together with buttercream and topped with a blush-colored rose and greenery.
The setting was inviting and cozy. It was perfect for Holly and Ben to bask in their love and enjoy the personal moment together. Underneath a ceiling of light, in front of a gorgeous table, the couple oohed and ahhed over one another.
This organic shoot proves that an elopement can still have style and elegance. It's the perfect celebration for a couple hoping for simple solidarity in a private atmosphere. This session was all about the couple, with the weather being just a small detail of their big day.
