Fox Chapel Golf Club Pennsylvania Wedding
Fox Chapel Golf Club Pennsylvania Wedding. They don't call them blushing brides for nothing! For bride Kate, her Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, nuptials with husband Chris had the romantic color abounding in the loveliest of places. They performed a traditional ceremony at St. Mary's Church, followed by a classic and timeless reception at the Fox Chapel Golf Club. Chris looked quite handsome in his traditional tuxedo, while Kate embraced true bridal beauty with the pretty pink hue close by.
Kate chose to walk down the aisle in soft pink peep-toe heels with darling bows at the front. She wore a beautiful ball gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and gorgeous lace detail on the full skirt. She got ready with the help of some trusty bridesmaids, while Chris looked cool and calm waiting in the wings at the church.
Kate was escorted down the aisle by her brother. She carried an elegant bouquet with white and blush-colored flowers and wore a cathedral-length veil, covering her face with a delicate blusher. She met Chris at the altar and the two stepped forward together. In front of a large and loving group of friends and family, the two pledged their commitments and sealed them with a romantic kiss.
With happy smiles and happy tears, the two were lauded as they made their way back down the aisle together as husband and wife. Chris admired his bride as the two walked hand-in-hand outside.
The wedding party took group shots after the ceremony. Chris and all of his groomsmen donned black tuxedos with black bowties and white shirts.
Kate's bridesmaids wore long sweetheart style dresses in beautiful blush. Each lady wore her hair the way it looked best and they carried bouquets similar to Kate's with blush-colored satin ribbon around the stems.
Kate kept her hair simple with a low style. She also chose to keep her makeup look natural and fresh with neutral eyes and rose-colored lips. She opted for pearl and diamond stud earrings for a polished and graceful look.
The Fox Chapel Golf Club had amazing areas for the photographer to shoot.
The couple held hands and strolled through tall pine and oak trees around the property. Getting wide-angle shots allowed for Kate to really show off the length of her beautiful veil.
The couple and their guests made their way to a gorgeous reception. The guest book looked like a vintage journal, made with a personalized pink book jacket. Guests were able to drop their cards into an antique birdcage, decorated with small bunches of flowers.
Reception tables were dressed with gold chargers and blush-colored place cards. Centerpieces included short round vases lined with leaves, abounding with white hydrangea, pink roses and sweet pea.
The cake was a three-tier dream. The white confection featured white swirls around each tier with pearl details at the base of each layer. The cake topper was a simple collection of pink and white roses.
Unlike the guests, the bridal party sat at a long head table. The couple was surrounded by their best friends and looked on at the congregation of their beloved guests.
Behind the dinner space was a gorgeous open area complete with skylights, trees with string lights, and a beautiful fountain in the center.
The couple enjoyed their first dance as guests gathered around the floor's perimeter. Kate chose not to take off her veil but rather, tucked it up to make it manageable for dancing.
And clearly, that was a great decision as Chris spun and twirled his new bride to the tunes of a live band!
One might describe this Pennsylvania wedding as traditional and elegantly enduring. Of course, for Chris and Kate, it's an unforgettable homage to their exclusive love story. A blush-colored vision turned into the best party they could ask for. Congratulations, Chris and Kate!
