Palm Springs Wedding Shoot
Palm Springs Wedding Shoot.
Palm Springs has become an IT place for couples to get married. For this shoot we geared it for the a hip couple that liked a little pops of color. For the bride we went with a very simple bohemian gossamer gown because we knew we wanted to give her a large over the top colorful bouquet. We added a little pop of color on her feet with blue Louboutin shoes. For the groom we went with a very classic clean tux from generation tux. We added a pop of orange with the boutonniere.
For the desserts SugarCoated Bakers created a fun drip cake and pink filled macaroons which any guest would love to dig into.
The shoot was all about the iconic scenery of Palm Springs. We included bougainvillea plants which grows all over Palm Springs, the famous windmills and we ended the shoot at a private property that had a huge cactus garden. For the sweetheart table we noticed a huge trend in clear chairs so we went for the clear chevalier chairs. We also added customized marble place settings. For flowers we went bold and bright which pop against the desert backdrop. All flowers were in 1970's vintage vases.
This entire shoot was shot on Medium format film processed by Richard Photo Lab.
