Rancho de las Aguilas Alabama Wedding
Rancho de las Aguilas Alabama wedding. Sometimes what we hope for our dream wedding can’t always be a reality, but fortunately, there are incredible venues that recreate that experience close to home. For bride Kirsten, her family’s Italian heritage would’ve been the perfect reason to enjoy a wedding in Italy with her groom, Zack. Although that couldn’t happen, the couple’s day was remarkably close thanks to the amazing Rancho de la Aguilas in Birmingham, Alabama.
Their wedding boasted hearty, natural elements that resemble the Italian countryside and culture. The outdoor affair was set in a lush environment with beautiful fountains, Italian-style motifs, and abundant gardens in the background.
Kirsten looked like a picture-perfect bride. Her long veil complemented her ruched A-line gown, with a small beaded embellishment at the hip. Instead of an updo, she wore her brown locks softly curled and loose. The only thing more stunning than her dress was the radiant smile on her face.
She also kept the bouquet classic, carrying a collection of white roses.
Kirsten’s bridesmaids wore dark purple dresses. Although each one was floor-length, they all had a different style, matching their individual personalities. While Kirsten kept her bouquet monochromatic, the bridesmaids carried colorful blooms.
Zack sported a timeless look on his wedding day. A sharp and crisp black tuxedo with a black vest and black tie were all he needed to transform into a handsome groom.
Kirsten was escorted down a brick path lined with tulle and flowers to her awaiting groom.
Underneath a wooden trellis dressed with white fabric and an incredible chandelier, the two said “I do” in front of family and friends.
They retreated back to the main building and strolled the property for a few photos after the ceremony.
Finding unique nooks and crannies along the way, they paused for a rest on a swing and exchanged a quiet moment before heading to the reception.
The décor was simple and clean and let the venue speak for itself. Wooden chairs were paired with white linen-covered tables. The delightful centerpieces included silver vases with baby eucalyptus and grapes. They were accompanied by a dancefloor glowing with romantic string lights.
Kirsten and Zack had their Italy-inspired day anyway thanks to a great venue and added touches. Even if what you want for your wedding might be a little out of reach, with just a little creativity, you can be transported to the location of your dreams.
