The Bradford New Hill North Carolina Wedding

Make no mistake about it. Carolyn is definitely a girly-girl. She loves pink and adores sparkle. She knew her wedding day had to incorporate those details but she didn’t want to leave out the groom. So, a professional wrestling touch appeared in honor of Aaron during the ceremony. This French Provincial-style wedding at the Bradford in Cary, North Carolina, was an all-encompassing event that truthfully told their love story. This venue is unbelievable. It looks as if it was transported straight from the French countryside. And for Carolyn’s vision for a pink-inspired, romantic wedding, it was the perfect place.

Carolyn chose pink embellished peep-toe Badgley Mischka heels and accessorized with equally glamorous jewelry. She accompanied all of those details with a beautiful lace mermaid gown that featured a beaded highlight at the waist and quite the dramatic veil.

The flower girls, carrying gold pails, wore pink sequined dresses and small flats. How picture-perfect they were as they made their way down the aisle.

With candlelight on both sides, Carolyn walked down the aisle to meet her groom.

In front of a curtain of raining Edison lights, the two held hands and exchanged vows in front of a room full of elated witnesses.

After the pronouncement of husband and wife, they made their way back down the aisle, smiling and waving, as Carolyn humorously pulled out a heavyweight belt.

The entire wedding party was dressed in black. The bridesmaids all wore long V-neck dresses, while the groomsmen kept it classic in black tuxedos. Even the bride’s beloved four-legged friend made a stylish appearance.

Romantic, pastel pieces outfitted the reception. Mirrors, vintage bottles, furniture, and even heirloom family pictures truly brought the ambiance to life.

Overlooking the room were the couple’s initials lit up on the wall. The tables featured white linens, bold jade green napkins, and centerpieces crafted with vintage glassware, delicate flowers, and beautiful table numbers on top of a reflective mirror.

The cake was as sugary sweet as they come. Three light pink tiers were adorned with pink rosebuds. Atop the creation was a beautiful personalized topper that truly was the ‘icing on the cake!’

For their first dance, Carolyn kept the striking flower headpiece but removed the longer portion of her veil. As the two held hands, they immersed themselves in the music and enjoyed every second of the song.

Afterwards, it was time for the guests to get down! With a dancefloor full of party-goers, and the walls splashed with pink uplighting, it was time to let loose.

And the couple needed just one more moment of sparkle before saying “good-bye” to their wedding day. They made their way out of the reception through a loving sparkler send-off from their guests.

Many like to think the wedding is all about the bride but it’s important for the groom to feel included, as well. Although Carolyn and Aaron’s big day was full of pink and glitter, the small personalized touches created a well-rounded experience for both. It was resplendent, it was romantic, and above all, it was 100% representative of the bride and groom.
