The Big Fake Wedding Asheville
Wedding Asheville. Asheville, North Carolina, sets itself apart in many ways but one of those ways is with its embrace to the natural and beautiful. So it comes as no surprise that when the Big Fake Wedding came to town, Asheville would be the muse for a natural, organic experience reminiscent of the South of France. The Asheville Masonic Temple served as the venue for this unique wedding show. Attendees ascended on the location for a dreamy, rustic wonderland wedding to inspire their own wedding day visions.
From the fabric flowers to the rose, ivory and green color palette, every detail was soft and romantic. Aged additions and fresh décor brought the “Herbs de Provence” inspiration to life.
The bride was dressed in a dark gold beaded vintage-inspired gown. She wrapped her shoulders in an antique shawl and wore her colorful curls in a side-swept ‘do pinned with a flower.
Her bridesmaids wore coordinating dresses with lace and patterned fabric, alternating in style.
The groom and his groomsmen wore navy blue suits with vests and blue bow ties.
Because of the picturesque Downtown area of Asheville, the photo opportunities were plentiful and perfect.
Attendees couldn’t stop talking about the ceremony backdrop. The greenery mixed with the setting created an enchanted forest, perfect for framing as the couple renewed their vows.
The fresh and floral-inspired theme continued for the reception and explored the many directions in which it could go.
Those in attendance were delightfully greeted with tables set with various floral themes full of beautiful china, vintage glassware in a variety of colors, topiaries, centerpieces, and even tea cups.
A delicious treat table was supplied with various chocolates for attendees to sample.
The cakes were perfect because they weren’t over-the-top or overdone. With a casual buttercream frosting, this two-tier design simply featured buttercream flowers, sprinkles, and a scripted cake topper.
The real-life couple danced the night away as guests soaked in the event and enjoyed the services of the area’s best vendors.
And as they said “goodnight,” and happily exited, attendees were left dreaming up their own perfect wedding days thanks to the Big Fake Wedding in Asheville.
