Wedding at Old Anglers Inn

Along the banks of the powerful Potomac River in Bethesda, Maryland, sits the Old Anglers Inn. It was the perfect setting for Christine and John’s garden-party themed wedding with its air of sophistication and vibrant natural environment. The couple chose a color palette of lively greens, pops of rose and blush, and metallic gold.

Her bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses in all shades of gold. The group of ladies looked lovely in their shimmering, personalized styles.

John and his groomsmen kept their looks traditional. Each gentleman wore a black tuxedo. John and his best men wore white bow ties and vests, while the rest of the party were dressed in black bow ties and vests.

With the sun shining sweetly on their ceremony, the couple were married on the patio in front of a loving group of family and friends.

While guests relaxed in the garden bar area after the ceremony, Christine and John took some intimate photos alone, reveling in their first few moments as husband and wife.

Reception tables were set with an array of metallic additions such as copper mugs, gold table numbers, and metallic votives. Pops of color with pink flowers and moss details were included to add to the garden ambiance.

The couple enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife before the sun went down.

As guests dined and danced through the evening, a canopy of market lights glowed from above.

Having the wedding and reception at one venue is convenient and helps to carry the theme seamlessly throughout the event. Christine and John’s garden-inspired celebration was as naturally beautiful as it was romantic from start to finish.
