Thyme Inn Glen Arbor MI Wedding
A wedding at the Thyme Inn in Glen Arbor, Michigan, promises to be enchanting, romantic, and spiritual. That’s just the feeling Mallory and Tyler were hoping for as they planned a perfect summer wedding overlooking all of Glen Arbor. A plethora of color, an abundance of flowers, and a quiet excitement for this charming and sweet couple were the makings for a memorable day in Michigan.
Even the invitation suite was darling! A map, weekend details, RSVP card, and formal invitation all featured different designs but a cohesive color palette.
Mallory looked beautifully radiant on her wedding day. Since her wedding was outdoors, she kept her shoe choice functional with Kate Spade flats. They poked out from the hem of a gorgeous lace gown with illusion neckline and cap sleeves. She completed her look with a traditional veil.
Their excitement reached a fever pitch during their first look moment before the ceremony. Standing on a small path under the trees, Tyler had his back to his bride. She spun him around and they enjoyed the intimate occasion before taking photos with their bridal party.
A group of bridesmaids stood up to support Mallory in long chiffon dresses in various shades of green. The ladies all held bouquets of white and blue hydrangea, along with assorted greenery.
Tyler and his groomsmen looked relaxed and comfortable in their black suits and blue ties. They shared a laugh before Tyler took his place overlooking the bluff to wait for his bride.
Mallory drove up with her family in a vintage car to the ceremony. As she was escorted down the aisle, Tyler was overcome with emotion – a moment every girl dreams of!
The sky was perfectly blue and the ceremony was a sentimental representation of the bride and groom not only committing themselves to one another but also to their Christ-centered relationship.
When the ceremony was complete, the bridal party made their way to the reception by horse-drawn carriage. As guests filled the venue, the couple took some photos outside as they rejoiced in their new life as husband and wife.
The reception hall was a vintage, rustic inspired experience from start to finish. A memorial table was fashioned from an antique furniture piece, string lights were strung across the ceiling, and long natural tables welcomed guests.
Décor included lace table runners, vintage bottles and vases, floral table numbers, and votives.
An assortment of cakes were provided for guests to choose something to their liking, including a delicious naked cake with buttercream and strawberries.
Mallory and Tyler’s first dance was romantic but as the evening wore on, the couple and their guests took fun to a whole new level.
The bridal party surprised everyone with a humorous skit explaining how the couple met.
It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and love – the three best things anyone could hope for on their wedding day. Congratulations to Mallory and Tyler on their delightful day in Michigan!
