Golden Colorado Real Wedding
The Golden, Colorado, wedding of Alaina and Kyle was designed on the theme of simplistic elegance. With a ceremony at Rockland Community Church and reception at the pristine Club at Rolling Hills, this couple's big day was nothing short of romantic and sophisticated. The bride and groom met in college. When he came over to talk to a group of friends sitting in the quad, she became determined to find out who he was. After solving the mystery, the couple went on a few dates and began dating towards the end of college. He proposed in Steamboat Springs right under the gondola at the base of the mountain.
For her wedding, Alaina was determined to walk down the aisle in style, starting with her fashion-forward heels.
Since light blue and pink were the central colors of the day, the bride carried a bouquet with roses and blue hydrangea.
An image of grace and beauty, the bride wore a strapless lace sweetheart-style gown with a beaded highlight at the waist and her hair was pinned up to one side under a veil. Her bridesmaids looked completely radiant in light blue dresses of various chic long styles.
The groom and his groomsmen wore black tuxedos with black vests and black bow ties. They were the epitome of classic, handsome wedding style.
Alaina was escorted down the aisle of the church to her awaiting groom. In front of a large window with a cross and breathtaking flower arrangements, the two exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony in front of family and friends.
After sealing their commitments with a kiss, the two enjoyed their first photos as husband and wife while basking in the sweet Colorado sunshine.
They made their way to the Club at Rolling Hills for a floral-inspired reception that began outside. Place cards with small floral details helped guests find their seats.
Under a white tent, the head table was covered with white linens and a runner made from silver dollar eucalyptus. Round reception tables featured small flower arrangements full of color and texture surrounded by a collection of votives.
The cake was a sweet buttercream dream. Two tiers were frosted simply and dotted with pearls around the base of each tier. Touches of greenery were added for a delicate addition of color.
The couple enjoyed their guests’ stories and laughter during the dinner portion of the reception. They also enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife inside the venue.
Their favorite moment came late in the evening. The couple snuck back outside with glasses of champagne to sit under the tent where the dinner took place. All of the staff was breaking down the dinner tables and the lights were on, but they could hear the hum of the party going inside and cherished the chance to take it all in.
The simplistic elegance of this Colorado wedding made getting married look seamless. From the flowers, to the soft colors, to the stylish attire of the bridal party, everything about this day was well-planned and beautifully executed. Congratulations!
