Vintage Inspired Russia Styled Wedding Shoot

Autumn is synonymous with bold colors and cool temperatures. This styled shoot from Russia is anything but mildly tempered. With beautiful reds, rich blues and the addition of eclectic antiques, this shoot gives the autumnal season a whole new appearance. Because of the bold colors incorporated in this shoot, many other complementary tones are neutral and clear. The bride’s peep toes pumps are nude and pair perfectly with the rest of her bridal look.

The invitation suite exudes romance and passion. Script in deep red mixed with white paper and heart details are amorous and attractive. The use of red is subtle enough to leave an impression but does not overwhelm the classic look of the design.

The bride channels elegance and sophistication while softly embracing the rich hue. Her lace dress features a V-neck with straps and a fit-and-flare silhouette with a beaded highlight at the waist. She accessorizes with statement earrings and her hair is curled and swept back. Her makeup is natural with a deep red lip that matches her nails perfectly. She holds a bouquet filled with white and red flowers, all tied with red and white lace ribbon.

Her hair is curled and swept back. From the front, it looks simple but from the back, it’s a show-stopping style. The stylist incorporates a beautiful crystal comb that sprays across the back of her updo.  The bride absolutely beams with this added touch of sparkle.

A wider shot puts the train of the dress on full display. The white is a central focal point with the green backdrop and red details. She is seen holding a much grander bouquet, full of red and white roses, greenery and ferns.

The groom’s boutonniere also has a pop of red, with a red rose and red ribbon tied stem. Small blush and white flowers complement the bold color. It pairs nicely with the groom’s cobalt blue slim-fit suit. Embracing the bride, the contrast of colors is exquisite.

The décor is ingenious and endearing. Two wooden chairs sit next to a red linen covered table with small vintage touches placed about. A small tray of lace-inspired apothecary jars sit atop an antique tray. A tall floor lamp sits behind the table. Several old suitcases are stacked in various places. But the most brilliant of finds is a working vintage gramophone, complete with a vinyl record.

Standing next to the table, the pair looks as if they stepped right out of another era. Both bride and groom look timeless and the oak tree next to them is a splendid reminder of enduring adoration. The bride covers her shoulders in a white shawl as the groom looks stoic and serene.

In an up-close shot, the bride’s features are immaculate. Her dark eyebrows and hazel eyes pop with the soft makeup palette and side-swept updo. Additionally, pairing the shawl with her lace dress amplifies the look of eternal elegance.

A final shot shows the couple hand-in-hand each clasping a vintage suitcase. The two look as if they are ready to embark on the incredible journey as husband and wife, armed with everything they need. It adds modest grace to such a refined session.
