Windemere Farms Towanda Kansas Wedding

Windemere Farms Towanda Kansas wedding. If you are torn between classic and rustic, there's no reason you can't have both. For Kansas cuties Katie and Anthony, a classic ceremony was followed by a fun, family-filled reception on the farm. It was a personalized way of combining tradition and trend. Wearing a sparkling pair of peep-toes, Katie put the finishing touches on her look at the Episcopal Church where she was to wed.

The bodice of her gown was lace and featured a deep V-neck. The empire-waist skirt was crisp and clean. Her brunette hair was styled cleanly in a low updo to which she added an elbow-length veil and she showed some personality with a bright red lip.

It was down the petal-strewn aisle that she walked to greet her groom. The bannisters at the altar were decorated with eucalyptus, baby's breath and white ribbons.

Anthony was waiting, dressed in a classic black tuxedo complete with a black bowtie.

After the couple said I do,they took formal photos amidst the beautiful wooden adornments in the church. The bridesmaids looked lovely in long black dresses of all different styles. Complementing them were the groomsmen who also wore black tuxedoes and black bowties. Two pretty and petite flower girls in precious white dresses rounded out the group.

The couple exited the church in a sea of confetti to a classic black vintage car. They made their way to the bride's family's private property, affectionately known as Windemere Farms.

The flowers for the ceremony stuck to a classic white color palette; however, the bride did add a special touch. On the side of her bouquet of white roses, white hydrangea and eucalyptus was a single red carnation, certain to have special meaning.

On the sprawling property, the couple and their loved ones took photos. A pond, a field and an old dirt road are just some of the special places Katie and Anthony stopped to capture a special moment.

Guests found their seats from cards displayed on an antique frame. Long tables covered in white linens were accessorized with gold charger plates and black lanterns.

A special touch was, quite literally, the family tree. On a single tree were frames of family members on their wedding days tied with white tulle.

Under a light-filled tent, guests enjoyed dinner and dancing. The couple created a dessert bar with several different desserts for friends and family to enjoy.
