Winston Salem NC Wedding
Winston Salem NC wedding. Aaron and Erin have quite the story. This couple, who both originally attended the same high school in Massachusetts, found themselves both working in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. After getting to know one another again, the two realized fate had stepped in. The similarities were promising as the couple planned a wedding in Winston-Salem.
Old Salem, the historic Moravian settlement in Winston Salem, is rich with history and tradition. Aaron and Erin were married under a gorgeous covered bridge in the heart of it all.
Aaron and Erin couldn't contain their excitement as they had a first-look session before the ceremony. Their smiles stretched from ear and ear.
Erin looked picture-perfect in her unique gown. It was fitted throughout the bodice, complete with an embellished champagne-colored belt and a mermaid skirt full of large pleated layers. Her hair was fashioned in a low style with a simple birdcage accessory and dainty earrings. Her bouquet was crafted with classic cream roses and robust green leaves and stems.
The groom looked positively dapper. He wore a gray suit, a huge trend in men's fashion as of late, and a dark navy blue tie. He embellished his lapel with a lily boutonniere.
Ascending upon the dark brown covered bridge, guests were greeted with a pair of sunglasses and dark wooden chairs flanked both sides of the aisle. The bridesmaids looked ever-so-stylish in their knee-length, patterned dresses. Some had straps and others were strapless but they all looked bright in the yellow and gray fabric. They, too, carried bouquets with cream roses, but also, with a little added greenery and thistle for extra dimension and variation from the bride's. The groomsmen looked similar to Aaron, flashing smiles and showing support for the groom.
After heartfelt vows and the exchanging of rings, Aaron and Erin were met with a rousing cheer of excitement as they were pronounced husband and wife. Guests were invited to attend a reception to fete the couple at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts.
The long family table was covered with a white linen and navy blue runner. There were clear chargers and navy blue napkins, which housed the menu for guests to see. Lining the center of the table were small votive candles and delicate flower arrangements.
As most married couples know, it's important to steal a moment for yourselves during the hustle and bustle of the wedding celebration. Aaron and Erin snuck off for a quick private photo or two, as Aaron dipped his bride outside under the moonlight.
Sometimes you can't explain life's coincidences. Sometimes you have to just chalk it up as fate and embrace what's happening. Aaron and Erin have quite the story to tell and now, they have a whole new chapter to write. Congratulations!
