Minnesota Engagement Photos
Minnesota Engagement session. Engagement sessions are a time where a couple can truly let their personalities shine. You truly have the ability to make the photos look and feel however you want.
For Minnesota couple Camille and Adam, this meant not only changing locations but also, changing into three very different outfits, each one offering another facet into who they are.
The first part of the shoot took place in a beautiful garden, amidst rows of flowers, rocks and benches. We love how Camille wore a bright red skirt over her skinny jeans because they coordinated so well with the flowers behind them. She paired it with a white blouse and brown boots. Also looking casual and comfortable was the groom, Adam, who wore a simple flannel shirt and jeans. With the soft sunlight, the scene looked enchanting.
The couple was able to also take advantage of the hearty yellow leaves and this made for a gorgeous backdrop in many of their photos. Whether they were sitting near a tree trunk or standing between the branches, it was a great natural touch.
Next, the couple made their way to an abandoned country road, where their only transportation was a gorgeous bicycle built for two with a charming wicker basket. Camille wore a bright red and navy flannel shirt with her dark skinny jeans and bright red flats. Adam donned a black fleece with a gray scarf and jeans.
Sitting atop the basket was a bunch of wildflowers, bursting with color that perfectly pulled in the colors of the couple's outfits. The couple hopped on board and enjoyed the scenery together.
Lastly, as the sun began to set, the two made their way to an open field. Camille wore a long-sleeve olive green dress with brown belt and Adam coordinated with a dark gray sweater and button-down shirt underneath.
They strolled amongst the tall grass, embraced in the sunlight and wrapped up the shoot in a blanket.
This shoot is interesting because you get a glimpse of the couple throughout the day: what they look like early in the day, in the afternoon and in the evening. Each look is completely different and telling. In each session, the couple embraced one another in a different way and showed off different pieces of their personalities, pieces you might not always see unless you scratch the surface of creativity.
