Winter Goldsboro North Carolina Real Wedding

Goldsboro North Carolina Real Wedding. A lot of couples plan winter weddings but not all of them plan for winter to actually show up. For North Carolina couple, Sarah and Michael, their winter wedding had a little extra touch, real snow, in a part of the state that rarely sees the stuff. They literally had a winter wonderland wedding!

Even though it was cold in Goldsboro, Sarah was a vision in white. She wore a fit and flare gown that was strapless and had intricate embellishments all down the front and side. She opted for a small feather accessory in her blonde updo and pearl earrings. To walk down the aisle, she wore a sassy, glittering pair of heels.

Her bridesmaids were lovely in long chocolate brown halter dresses. Each lady wore her hair the style of her choosing and carried bouquets made with white flowers, hearty ferns and leaves, and small pine cones. The bride carried a stark white bouquet made of white roses, netting and jewels.

Carrying with the chocolate color palette were the gentlemen who, along with the groom, wore brown suits, light blue ties and boutonnieres.

The couple decorated both the outside and the inside of the church with arrangements of pine stems, pine cones, and white roses. The gentle snowfall also added a little extra touch!

The couple said I Do in front of a warm congregation of family and friends, lit a unity candle and headed out for a few photos before the reception. They hit the streets to take some shots under the falling snow skies. Sarah donned a fur jacket and Michael carried an umbrella. They were photos they didn't know they could get and probably glad they did.

The reception venue was gorgeous. It was a designer's dream with a ceiling of draped fabric, a chandelier decorated with tulle and swags of twinkle lights surrounding the dance floor. The tables were decorated with the same forest elements, along with some sparkle here and there. And since Michael is a former UNC-Chapel Hill football player, the pigskin made a charming entrance, as well.

The cake was exquisite. It had four white layers with crystals around each layer and sparkling snowflakes as decoration. It was topped with a glittering M and sat atop a beaded cake-stand. It looked like a wintry dream.

And even though it was chilly, the couple made a hot exit through a line of sparklers.

You never know what Mother Nature's going to bring on the big day. You can plan but sometimes, you just have to let nature take its course. For Sarah and Michael, that meant a surreal once-in-a-lifetime moment they could only dream of! Congratulations to this Carolina couple!
