Winter Shoot at Brickyard Marietta
From the times as children that brought us chilly outdoor fun and merriment, to the times in adulthood when the season promised a new start, this styled shoot banks on all of the cozy and wonderful qualities of winter. The stylish scene at The Brickyard in Marietta, Ga., delivers a rich and bright celebration to bask in the amazement of two souls becoming one. Deep reds, green, and white are the chosen colors for this shoot, encompassing both the traditional winter colors associated with the season and the bold hues of the season’s fruit.
Many of the florals capitalize on this color combination with a mixture of white roses, white veronica, dark red dahlias, and assorted greenery.
The bride and groom are chic and refreshing. The groom sports a crisp black suit while the bride dons a delicate lace gown. Her hair hangs down during the first part of the day and then it is styled in a sophisticated updo.
The tablescape is clean and classic with a white and green presentation.
A linen-covered table is decorated with a runner made from greenery and splashed with gold candle holders and votives. Gold flatware complements the décor.
The dessert table is a mix-and-match of modern and timeless touches. A contemporary metal and wood table is adorned with a stunning cake, tall candles, and a swag of greenery for an extra dose of color against the white walls.
To keep in line with the season’s offerings, a buttercream-frosted chocolate cake is topped with sugared cranberries.
Pomegranate seeds also make a colorful appearance on the hors' devours.
Outside, the bride looks cozy and content in a warm stole. Her hair echoes the season with a sprig of berries nestled in her updo and a bright red lip to match.
The combination of contrasting luxurious and simple details, such as the plush florals, ample greenery, and the romantic glow of the candles, blend together to create a sense of joy. While the world is chilly, two souls are enveloped with warmth and love - and that's all one can hope for at their winter wedding.
