Winter Weddings Inspiration Board

The inspiration for winter weddings doesn’t have to merely derive from snowflakes, the color blue, or even the holidays. Not every winter season is the same, just like not every winter wedding is the same. There are ways to redefine the season to give you the winter wonderland you never imagined but always knew you wanted. For color inspiration, think of the natural colors you see in the winter time. Channel the longstanding evergreens after all the trees have lost their foliage, the blue skies after a snowstorm moves out, the color of the wood you bring in for the fire, and of course, winter whites.

Hearty foliage like ferns and various types of greenery are a great way to tie in fresh, organic color. Mimic that with table décor for a seamless touch.

If you live in colder climates or simply prefer long sleeves, this is definitely the season to embrace the style. A lace long-sleeve gown channels a Victorian romance that makes us warm and fuzzy inside.

Finally, your cake can make a statement for the season, too. Instead of a clean, crisp, or over-the-top creation, rely on texture to make your wedding cake a standout piece at the reception.

Focus on fresh colors, hearty florals, and the right fabrics to give your winter wedding an updated look that’ll make you fall in love with the season all over again.
