Ashton Gardens Atlanta GA Wedding
It’s no wonder Ashton Gardens is a premier wedding venue in Atlanta, Georgia. The glass chapel and stunning ballroom offer unparalleled views from the ceremony to the last dance. Alanna and Mathias used the venue as their muse for a truly radiant and romantic wedding day. The couple met through an educational program in Oregon. Alanna hailed from Atlanta, while Mathias called Norway home. Their entire relationship was long-distance but even the Atlantic Ocean couldn’t stop these two love birds from making it work. And so, after getting engaged, they planned an elegant wedding in Alanna’s hometown.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The day started with photos of the bride and her gorgeous bridal party outside under the sun-soaked trees.
Alanna’s bouquet was a sweet indication of the theme to come, for it boasted all types of pink and purple blooms that made for a beautiful arrangement. She also chose to wear a dainty floral crown throughout the day.
Alanna wore a high-neck lace gown with short sleeves that fit her remarkably. It had a long flowing skirt and train, and satin ribbon waistband.
Mathias made for a handsome groom. He wore a navy blue suit with a white bow tie.
He was eager to see his bride during their “first look” moment before the ceremony.
Mathias couldn’t believe his eyes at the sight of his bride. The couple rejoiced in the moment and gathered with their bridal party before saying “I do.”
Her bridesmaids were all dressed in various romantic colors and styles. Each lady carried a bouquet of greenery and white flowers, all tied with white ribbons. The groomsmen were dressed in classic suspenders and bowties.
Even the tiny ring bearer couldn’t contain his excitement.
The exterior of Ashton Gardens was a welcoming scene as guests descended upon the venue. They were greeted with plush flower arrangements full of colorful blooms.
The grand glass windows were enchanting. As the couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends, one couldn’t help but sit in awe of the amazing views from the ceremony.
The couple wore beaming smiles as they walked back down the aisle, taking their first steps as husband and wife.
For the ceremony, Alanna affixed a veil to the back of her flower crown. It was a lovely traditional touch to her look.
The sun touched their eyes as the beautiful couple took their first few photos as “Mr.” and “Mrs.”
The ballroom at Ashton Gardens is just as unbelievable as the chapel. Tall glass windows make up the perimeter of the room and provide an abundance of natural light.
The head table was dressed with white linens, pale blue table runners, and lace-wrapped mason jars with colorful flowers. The round reception tables were also covered in white linens and featured gorgeous candelabras.
The chandeliers from the ceiling provided a glittering luminosity as the couple had their first dance as husband and wife.
The wedding cake was adorably designed. Two small birds, each dressed appropriately as a bride and groom, topped the scalloped three-tier creation. Small touches of flowers adorned the layers for a delightful finish.
As the sunlight began to fade, the couple made their way outside near the pergola for a few last photos.
Kissing ever-so-gently, Mathias and Alanna were enraptured in wedding day bliss.
This wedding day was abundantly beautiful not just because of the décor, the flowers, or the style, but because of the relationship between the bride and groom. They’re proof that something worth having is worth fighting for, and if you truly believe it to be yours, it will be.
