Fairmont Hotel San Francisco California Wedding. When you think of an urban wedding, many times glitz and glamour come to mind. You have the bright lights of the city and its ambiance. However, when Soyoung and George tied the knot in San Francisco, California, they definitely embraced their surroundings by exchanging their vows on the streets in front of the Fairmont Hotel. It was so simple and sophisticated at the same time.
Soyoung was an urban bride from head to toe. Her gown was absolutely stunning. It was a strapless A-line design that gathered at the waist which was jeweled. It had ruffles in the skirt and the train was definitely one of the most amazing that we have seen in a while. It just went on and on and on. Her hairstyle was so elegant. It was an up do with a flower on the side. She complemented this ensemble with silver shoes. Her bouquet was only white but it was so incredible. Soyoung looked like a princess.
 
George looked just as sophisticated. He and his grooms men wore tuxedos. The bridal party was completed with the brides maids who wore long lavender dresses. They definitely did not look like they were outside. The looked like they belonged in a fancy ballroom.
 
The elegance continued into the reception.
The table settings were very elegant but the centerpiece of this event was definitely the wedding cake. It was absolutely magnificent. It was four layers of culinary splendor. The topper was a lavender flower and there was another flower on the side. But it was the details on the cake that made it so wonderful. There was etching on the sides that made it so unique. It was absolutely magnificent.
Soyoung and George may have gotten married on the streets but their wedding was an event. The details, elegance were just amazing. We hope that you see that if you live in the city, you can have an great wedding by embracing your surroundings. The city is amazing all by itself and you can have a wonderful wedding by using the things already there to enhance your nuptials. You don't have to run from the city to have the wedding of your dreams. You can have an amazing day just where you are.
