Rustic Oklahoma Real Wedding
Oklahoma Real Wedding by Anna Lee Media. In earlier times, weddings were the big events of the year. Everyone came and wore their best attire. When Amie and Tyler got married in a small town, their nuptials had the same feeling. Tyler is a local youth pastor and his youth group, family and friends watched them exchange their vows.
It was an outdoor affair with an ambiance that took you back to a simpler time in life. The couple stood under a handmade arch covered with flowers in the woods surrounded by trees. The guests sat in chairs that had jugs filled with flowers and decorated with burlap at the end of each aisle. But even though it was not an extravagant venue, their nuptials were still elegant.
Amie made a beautiful bride. Her gown was exceptional. It had capped sleeves with intricate applique and a jeweled waist. It was definitely not what you would expect at an outdoor wedding. You would expect something more rustic but it was stunning. She capped off her ensemble with drop earrings and a veil. The curls in her hair were a perfect choice.
The groom and his grooms men all wore tan suits with beige ties. Once again, they looked more elegant than you would expect from an affair in the great outdoors.
The brides maids had dresses of varying colored skirts with lace tops. Their dresses were very unique.
The rest of the decor was a great complement to this down to earth wedding. There were balls as well as bowls filled with flowers hanging from the trees. They also had an axe wedged in a tree stump. The elegance continued at the reception.
They had an incredible wedding cake. It was yellow and it was four layers with an amazing floral topper and flowers on the side.
Amie and Tyler proved that you can have a simple yet elegant wedding. Their nuptials may have been down to earth but by paying attention to details they also made it exquisite. They showed that the venue choice does not necessarily dictate your nuptials. You can have the wedding of your dreams no matter where you decide to exchange your vows. Be creative and dream. You can make it happen.
