Villa Siena Arizona Wedding Photos. Miriam and Hunter had quite the courtship. On January 2, 2014, they met for the first time at a restaurant in Montreal. Miriam was a hostess and spotted Hunter while he was there with a group of friends. After mustering up the courage to ask her out, they spent a fun group date together on January 4. By March, the two knew they were in it for the long haul and got engaged over a heartfelt phone conversation. They maintained their long distance relationship until becoming officially engaged in June after Hunter dropped to one knee in Washington, DC, and got married the same month. Ten of their closest friends and family members were present at their ceremony in Annapolis, Maryland, where Hunter attended the Naval Academy.
His first duty station was in California so the couple made their way across the country and started planning a wedding. The gorgeous Villa Siena in Gilbert, Arizona, served as the perfect location for this traveling twosome.
Miriam has a flair for stylish pieces and classic tones; therefore, the wedding day she envisioned included a neutral palate in a lush environment full of champagne, rose, and ivory.
Miriam wore a show stopping mermaid lace gown with tulle skirt and cathedral-length veil.
Hunter looked regal and handsome in his uniform.
As the bride came down the aisle, the two laid eyes on one another and Hunter’s father married them for the second time. However, this time, all of their friends and family were in attendance.
The reception beamed with radiance from the white linens, light fixtures, and windows. The classic affair was complete with elegantly scripted paper pieces, abundant florals, and a gorgeous bridal party.
Miriam and Hunter’s love story may have started with a whirlwind, but their wedding day was anything but!
